Quick walk to hip Southie restaurants like Lincoln & Loco, 15 minute walk to West Broadway T Stop or 9 minute bus ride to Back Bay for exploring the rest of Boston. And it has a private back yard and hot tub!

History buffs will love to know this house was once owned by Whitey Bulger in the 1980s.
 
The space
Your home away from home has everything you need to enjoy all that Southie has to offer from restaurants, shopping, dining, to museums and the zoo!

The kitchen was renovated in 2018 with bright white cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and a large island that seats 5. There is also a wet bar area on the lower level with seating for 5.

Kitchen is stocked with all the cooking/serving necessities including: cookware, pots, pans, plates, cups, and silverware.

The living room has a large and comfortable sofa and a HUGE 70 inch flat screen smart TV, just perfect for watching big games. You will have access to basic cable via YoutubeTV and we'll have complimentary account access to both Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Working from home? No problem! The upstairs master bedroom has a 60 inch sit/stand desk, there's a desk on the main level and someone could work on the bar on the first level, plenty of privacy for video calls!

Bathrooms: one full on the lower level, one half bath on the main level, and one full on the top level.

Hotel quality linens and towels, shampoo and conditioner, and body wash provided for our guests.

Outdoors: While not enjoying sites and sounds of Boston, enjoy the backyard complete with 5 seater hot tub, Weber Genesis gas grill, and seating for up to 6.

The top floor of the house contains the bedrooms and a full bathroom, for easy planning here is the layout:
Bedroom 1: two full size beds
Bedroom 2: one queen sized bed
Bedroom 3: two full sized beds
Bedroom 4: one queen sized beds

Parking: included is one garage parking spot located across the street. Weekend parking is pretty easy in Southie for additional cars, ask for details!

House also has fast wifi, laundry machine, and ac to keep you cool during the summer!
 
Guest access
You'll have full access to the space, which is stocked with essential toiletries, towels and linens. An iron, ironing board, and hair dryer are also available for use.
 
Other things to note
VRBO Payments: You agree that The Host will charge your card for the full payment of the stay any time within a 24 hours period after booking. Any payments by VRBO (service fees) will be charged separately. We will capture $800 on the same credit card 24 hours before check out and will be returned within 7 business days after your stay less any incidentals and property damage. We will ask for a copy of your ID and a photo of your license to verify payment information.

EXTRA GUEST FEE: We can sleep up to 12 guests. We charge $15 per GUEST per NIGHT for each guest after 8. We will send you a special offer for this new amount.

PET FEE: $50 additional cleaning fee for each pet due at time of booking, up to 2 dogs.

Hot-tub: You must sign the hot tub disclosure after booking for us to have it ready for you.

In respect to our neighbors: No parties, partying, or general rowdiness. Music played outside cannot be above conversation level and must be turned off by 8PM. No large speakers or DJs of any kind allowed. Quiet hours begin at 10PM and nobody should be on exterior spaces including the past 10PM.

RENTAL AGREEMENT: We will send you a rental agreement within 6 hours of booking. This is due within 24 hours or we have the right to cancel this booking with a 15% cancellation fee!

Part of the agreement:
In respect to our home and our neighbors please review and accept our rental agreement. Fines will be assessed, sometimes over your security, if you do not abide by the following rules:
  • No additional guests without host approval
  • No parties. Fines assessed for additional cleaning, trash removal and property damage. A party is grounds for termination of stay and immediate removal with no refund. We have noise monitoring device that registers decibel levels. It will alert us if you are too loud. It does NOT record sound.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited both inside, within 50ft of the outside or near window.
  • Pets allowed with approval before arrival and subject to a pet fee of $50 per dog, up to two dogs allowed.
  • No sublet and no packages may be sent to the house without host approval.
  • No refunds to be given for shortened stays and for any cable, internet, WI-FI, heating, cooling, or power outages
 
The cleaning fee is to help the cost in cleaning the house for your arrival. At the end of your stay, all beds must be stripped of their linens and towels placed in one neat pile in the laundry area, all trash put into closed sealed trash bags and left in the garbage bins, and all dishes must be washed. Additionally, all furniture needs to be returned to where it was found. We will charge an additional fee, if the house is found to be left dirty, furniture is not in the same place as when you arrived and if there is excessive trash.
