Ideal place to stay in the Berkshires
Ideal place to stay in the Berkshires! The location was convenient to all our favorite places in Stockbridge, Lenox, Lee, and Great Barrington. We loved all the beautiful details that this house had to offer, from the claw foot tub to the ornate dining room doors. The slightly-haunted feel of the house just adds to experience, especially in October.
Our stay here was wonderful
Our stay here was wonderful. It was a pleasure to relax by the fireplace and to be so close to downtown GB while still feeling away from it all. There is also a beautiful river running past the house. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a great space for the children to play. Beds were comfortable, and we were only a short drive to many incredible restaurants and experiences. We would gladly book again!

Ideal place to stay in the Berkshires! The location was convenient to all our favorite places in Stockbridge, Lenox, Lee, and Great Barrington. We were given a non-existent address for the house, in the reservation and multiple follow-up messages
We were given a non-existent address for the house, in the reservation and multiple follow-up messages. The house is actually around the corner at a different address. The 4 bedrooms are set up as 2 sets of adjoining rooms, so for 2 of the bedrooms you have to walk through another bedroom to get to it. Same thing for getting to the 2nd floor bathroom. The house is charming and rustic and located in a serene and natural setting.

Neat place, old wood carvings, nice history
Neat place, old wood carvings, nice history. Bathroom requires permission to pass thru the inside bedrooms for the outside bedroom guests, but it worked out fine and we all had a great sleep - thank you!

Great place for the family time
Great place for the family time! Quiet and peaceful, under 10 minutes drive to Butternut Ski, Main Street with lots of cafes, markets and coffee shops.
The host is friendly and provided clear instructions! Highly recommend this place!
We had a great stay this weekend
We had a great stay this weekend. Lucas was very responsive in helping coordinate plowing and ice when there was snow all weekend. House was very clean and comfortable and great selection games and small toys for kids. Perfect set up for a family ski weekend. Close to Catamount, closer to Butternut.

The house was a wonderful mixture of modern amenities and traditional trimmings. The parlor was large and a wonderful place for the family to read or play board games. Bedrooms were spacious and clean. The location was great for going into downtown Great Barrington or for going to Butternut to ski. Family had a wonderful vacation.

We spent four nights at Lucas' house and loved it! The house is beautiful, quiet, and spacious, historic and seems slightly haunted in the right way. It is conveniently located only short drives away from hiking, restaurants, and groceries. Check in was easy and straightforward. Great host, great house, would stay again!

Had a lovely stay here. Absolutely beautiful old home that was cozy and well appointed. Peaceful bucolic surroundings added to the charm and coziness all weekend. Well stocked kitchen, very comfortable bedrooms, all that you could ask for in a long Berkshires weekend. Lucas was also a friendly and responsive host throughout.
