This place was charming, well stocked, and quiet
This place was charming, well stocked, and quiet. There was a very effective air conditioner in the first floor as well as in each of the bedrooms. The TV was easy to use. There was a problem with the garbage disposal- a very nice plumber came the next day to fix it, which made a big difference!
The location is excellent, sitting on a small Hill that overlooks the town below and the mountains above
The location is excellent, sitting on a small Hill that overlooks the town below and the mountains above. It was very peaceful, tranquil and relaxing setting. Both bedrooms have bathrooms, the 1st floor is open with a spacious kitchen, pantry, large dinning table. The living room has full length casement sliding doors leading to a spacious porch allowing the views I described and making eating al fresco an additional spiritual delight. The house is ideally located to many of the nearby towns and major attractions in the area. Lucas’s home was a real treasure my wife enjoyed coming home to after our daily adventure and unwinding relaxing on the porch or by the fire pit. It was a perfectly located home away from home.

This was an amazing experience from start to finish. The home was ready early but we could not take advantage of this. We arrived to a clean and spacious home with a kitchen with lots of amenities. This two bedroom two bath house was a great find and in a great location for Lee, Lenox, Stockbridge, and Tanglewood. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

“Our stay at Lucas’ Centrally Located Historical Home in Lee MA was wonderful. The 2 bedroom home was absolutely perfect for the 3 of us, and would have been equally suitable for 2 couples as well. The home was well appointed with everything you could need / want. The living areas were open and inviting and the outside deck (where we shared many of our meals) and yard (complete with adirondack chairs and fire pit) were fabulous! And, as a host, Lucas was everything anyone could ask for. When we encountered a minor problem with one of the private bathrooms, he arranged for his plumber to gain access to the house, fix the issue and then ensured that we were satisfied with the resolution. We would definitely consider returning on a subsequent visit to the Berkshires!”

We stayed for three nights at this beautiful house. It is ideal for two adult couples with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, both bedrooms have queen size beds. The bedrooms are upstairs, and there is a powder room on the first floor. The house is very clean, fully equipped kitchen,
nice view from the open porch. It is on a quiet street, but very close to the center of the town. Tanglewood is 13 min drive, many major Berkshire attractions are a short drive away.
Lucas is very prompt in responding to any questions, all check in/check out instructions were clear.

The home was very well maintained, and adequate for 4 adults. We enjoyed breakfast on porch when weater permitted. The WIFI, internet and Sling TV was very unstable and we had no instructions on how to use SLING. Also we were not aware that there was no dishwasher.

Very cozy house for our long weekend in the Berkshires this summer. 20 minute walk to the town’s main street and plenty of outdoor activities to do in the area.

Great spot to stay if you’re attending a performance at Tanglewood. Peaceful, convenient. Nice house for 2 couples. Loved the surprise visitors—the neighbors chickens came to visit several times!!
The only minor caution I would give others is that there is a slightly musty odor about the house. It was fine once I got used to it, but anyone with severe allergies might be affected by it.
All in all, a lovely stay. Would book again.

We had a wonderful time in August! The house was very clean and comfortable, and in a great location to neighboring towns. We couldn't get any channels to work on the TV but we brought our own Fire stick so it worked out fine. We would definitely recommend staying here.

This is one of the nicest vacation homes I've ever stayed in--beautifully furnished and maintained, with a very well-equipped kitchen and a lovely view from the porch. The location is ideal for getting to many local attractions (by car) and the setting was very quiet. We stocked up on bread, cheese, butter, and ice cream from High Lawn Farm and got fresh produce from a local farm stand (Farmer Don's, not online; on Housatonic St btwn Lenox and Rte 20).

Beautiful property with a deck that allows overlook of the area. A sense of privacy in an otherwise busy area. This is a nicely maintained, smaller historic home well-suited to the 4-person max, with an open kitchen/dining area. Lucas was helpful from first contact on. We loved staying here. About 15 minutes from Tanglewood.

What a wonderful home. Very open and bright, close enough to walk into Lee and go for a bite or coffee. The house is up on a hill with a great big deck , it’s so quiet . But so close to everything too. The hosts were so responsive and helpful throughout the visit . Highly recommend!

Our family was really charmed by this lovely home located in a picturesque location on top of a hill with gorgeous vistas. The bedrooms were especially appealing and we slept soundly on wonderful mattresses and pillows. When relaxing on the living room sofa, the scenic views stretched out before us through a wall of attractive glass doors. It was a peaceful, pleasant retreat. The home is close to many cultural offerings, a quaint yet vibrant town center. It is a quick drive (8 minutes?) to Main Street in Stockbridge. We hope to return.

The house is comfortable, well located. The kitchen is well equipt, house was clean, beds are comfy. The yard is gorgeous, with ample space, seating and a fire pit. A large porch makes it lovely to be outside. It is located at the top of a steep hill, so walking is a bit of a challenge, but if you do so, it's a short walk to Lucky Ice Cream, Joe's Diner and several antique/collectable shops. It's a five minute drive to the beautiful Lee beach on Laurel Lake. IT is perfect for two couples or three family members.

Wonderful stay! The location is great, the house is beautiful and so neat and clean, we felt comfortable right away. Highly recommend for any time of year-the views are beautiful, a great place to sit on the porch with your beverage of choice and gaze at the mountains. Lucas is a great communicator, very responsive.

The home is impeccably appointed and very comfortable. There is a beautiful porch to sit out on to admire a breathtaking mountain view. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen and pantry were equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals and picnics. The home was neat and clean and check in and check out a breeze. The location was fantastic; easy access to Tanglewood, The Mount and Shakespeare and Co. The host was very responsive to questions and providing information. I hope we will be able to stay in this home again when we return to the Berkshires.

The home is very well equipped, lovely view. We especially appreciated the kitchen amenities including a drawer full of most all herbs and spices one would ever need, full canister of coffee, sugars, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, etc. There's a large pantry, very nice round dining table, pleasant porch with a table and chairs which we enjoyed. It's a short walk to the shops and restaurants of Lee and about a 1.5 mile walk (or drive) to a dairy farm which sells excellent ice cream, butter, milk, cheese and gourmet local food products. It is also a short drive to Tanglewood, about 12 minutes to the Shed, and other area attractions. Our only regret: that we didn't stay longer.
