Ten friends who’ve known each other since elementary school needed a place to reconnect, and this cabin delivered in every way. The well-appointed kitchen made cooking together a highlight of the trip, and the living spaces were warm and generous enough for all of us to actually enjoy being together under one roof. We were able to watch presentations, play charades, and enjoy the town. Great location.

The house is a great for a group going to ski at Butternut. Town is very close and the house is very comfortable. Finding the house is a bit challenging and there is a steep hill you will need to drive up to get there so make sure your car can handle it.

Loved everything about the house except getting to it. Once one couple in our party traversed the “road” everyone else parked in town and brought their stuff up by walking it up there. Not always ideal.

My family and I had a great stay at the property! The beds were incredibly comfy (all memory foam), the appliances all worked great, the location was perfect, the check in and check out processes were smooth, and it was so nice to be able to walk to town. The property photos are accurate, and the road up to the property wasn't an issue (at least in summer). It's just a short walk to Lake Mansfield, too, which was really nice. They were also great about us bringing pets. Would definitely rent again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. There’s a lot to like — it’s so nice to be a short walk to cafe Holli and all the great places in Great Barrington, the deck and lawn are lovely, and the house is super comfortable.
We were a group of six, but it would also be great for a larger family — there are plenty of beds, a comfortable couch, and the mattresses were great.
The directions provided were really helpful, especially since we arrived at night.

We love this house. We’ve had several stays over the years, and it never disappoints. The rooms are open and spacious while warm and cozy at the same time. The house is perched on a hill overlooking town against a backdrop of spectacular mountain views and fall foliage. There’s a gorgeous lake (and community) with hiking trails behind the house. It is truly breathtaking and we are so grateful to Luca for letting us use the house again this year.

We had an awesome time in Great Barrington! The home was really nice, updated, and clean. And was relatively private considering how close to town it was. Location was great. Only downside was the gravel road was extremely steep, make sure you have an AWD car! We had a stroller for the kids and went up and down the road many times, but was definitely a bit treacherous.

Unbeatable location. Clean. Has the majority of what you would need. Comfortably sleeps 6, maybe 8, but would not want to have more. It feels a little smaller than the photos. As mentioned in the listing, you do need to be mindful of the driving access; it’s a gravel, uneven path.
We were disappointed with one item
- both the issue and how it was / wasn’t dealt with. The pictures and description (at time of writing) indicate outdoor space (a deck) with ‘choice of seating’; 6 chairs. There is only actually 2 chairs, which makes it difficult for a group to use. Outdoor space was a main reason for our booking, and it wasn’t usable in the manner advertised. We contacted Lucas who stated he would look into it. We had a response around 5/6 hours later, sharing it was just the two chairs to use. So, would say description and photos were inaccurate. The responses were a little corporate; there wasn’t an effort to remediate, nor apology.
We enjoyed our stay, just a little disappointed.

We frequently walked to town often for coffee, restaurants, shopping, and GB's Saturday morning farmer's market. The house and property were beautiful. Our group consisting of 3 couples were very comfortable. The location to town and Lake Mansfield was excellent. We enjoyed a day of exploring the shops and restaurants in town and walking our dogs to the lake. One suggestion would be to either relocate the refrigerator or replace with a French door refrigerator as the current door is somewhat blocked by the counter. Overall we had an amazing stay and would definitely rent again.

The house is beautiful and so close to town you can walk to stores and restaurants. Also close to ski mountains (Butternut and Catamount). The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and had everything one would need. We spent Christmas there as we have family in the area. It’s not the easiest place to find in the dark the first time. The only comment is it would be nice to have televisions in the bedrooms.

The house is great. Directions were spot on and house was easy to find. They are not joking when they advise only 4 wheel or AWD. If your vehicle doesn’t have them don’t choose this house for the winter. We didn’t run into any issues but the hill/dirt road is really steep.
Accommodations had everything we needed and were just as described. Beds were comfortable, plenty of linens and house was clean upon arrival. Kitchen is fully stocked for cooking.
The house is super close to town and easy to get to. One thing to note is you either need to walk on a tight road with some blind corners or cross the train tracks into a parking lot. So if you have young kids keep that in mind!
Someone mentioned the train being loud…we heard the train once and it wasn’t bad. It would not have kept us up at night.
Lucas was extremely responsive with any of our questions. We had a great stay and would return again!

We are a regular Airbnb travelers and would rate Luca’s place as one of the nicest and best located of all the places we have stayed. The place was very clean, modern, had everything we needed to feel at home, and was an easy walk to town and a beautiful lake. Very close to all the shops, restaurants and cafes. We loved that it was pet friendly since we always travel with our dog. Communication was great too. We would highly recommend this place.

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the incredible location, the cleanliness, and the well-appointed kitchen that made my stay truly exceptional. It's a great location in Great Barrington, which allowed me to explore all the local attractions and surrounding towns with incredible ease. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and responsive, making my check-in and check-out process a breeze. The overall ambiance of the Airbnb was inviting and cozy (especially with the fireplace). I can't wait to return for another visit! I would recommend arriving at the house before dark as I imagine it could be a bit tricky to find at night. The location was great, especially for walking. The manager was friendly and responsive. The house however had some issues that impacted our stay. The automatic lock malfunctioned and locked us out one night after we returned from dinner. After a couple hours, a maintenance guy was able to let us in.
The kitchen lacked basic ingredients and equipment, and the refrigerator could not be opened much, without hitting the kitchen island. The grill was unable to cook our small red peppers within 30 minutes. We tried changing the propane canister, but it didn’t help. If you want to cook, this probably isn’t the place for you. Also, the house rules require the curtains to be drawn during the day, to help the struggling AC keep the space cool. We found this unpleasant, and did not enjoy spending time in the house during the day.

While the house is a little off the beaten path, the directions were very easy to follow. We had an issue with the main bathroom shower floor being very slippery and having nothing to hold into, leading to a fall. Pros: The location can not be beat, just a quick walk down a steep hill and across railroad tracks and you're in town. We did the trip several times a day. I do recommend an SUV a few of our friends with lower cars had a bit of a difficult time going up the hill. The space was clean and exactly as pictured. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook and serve for a large crowd as well as the bathroom with toiletries and plenty of TP.
Cons: The contract they have you sign ahead of time, felt unnecessary and a bit overboard. You have zero control over the temperature of the house, have to message them to change it. Extra blankets for the pull out couch/trundle bed were missing from the closets. Although very responsive, when asked if we could have early check-in they wanted to charge us over $300.

The location is unbelievable— all the restaurants are less than a 5 minute walk down the hill and yet the house feels perfectly secluded. It was a bit tricky to find but Lucas provided great instructions. Highly, highly recommend.

Lucas and Drew provided good instructions on how to find the house. GPS works, but it was reassuring to have their instructions about getting up the road to the house. Thankfully there was no snow on the ground for our February trip. The hill is smallish, but steep and I'd be worried if it had been icy.
House was very tidy when we arrived. We were a group of 9 people. House had what we needed to cook/eat. The dining area fit us all, but just (I'd say the max for the table area is 10). The couch also fit all of us comfortably.

The house was nice and Lucas was very helpful and always friendly and responsive. We had 3 families over MLK weekend/skiing at Catamount which is about 15min away. Fully stocked kitchen to cook in; all linens and basic toiletries and supplies were there; very clean house was helpful w/ 6 adults and 7 kids from ages 3-8. We were comfortable for 3 days there for sure. I would definitely recommend an all-wheel drive vehicle—we faired well with the weather, but if there was a lot of snow it may be a problem if you didn’t have all wheel drive. Just things to think about, but super close and easily walkable to all GB town has to offer. One thing to note there are train tracks at the base of the hill, but in 3 days we didn’t have one train come by so that shouldn’t deter you from renting the house. Overall great spot for several families to rent together for a fun, long weekend.

Just a fabulous place in a quite amazing location. This house feels like it's in the countryside but it is a two minute walk into the center of Great Barrington. It is light and airy and has a wonderful deck that looks out at the green hills of the Berkshires (we were there in August -- it'd be even more spectacular in the fall).
