The home was exactly as described, and had all of the key ingredients we needed as a family for a short vacation. The location relative to the town of great Barrington was terrific. The layout was roomy and conducive to being together. Lucas did a very good job communicating with us in advance to answer all of our questions.

Lucas was extremely responsive and went above and beyond when we had a few last minute guest count changes. The home was in a fabulous location within walking distance of Great Barrington. We brought our dog and 2 toddlers and there was a great scoter path just a few blocks away with a small lake and playground. I would return in a heartbeat!

The house was lovely, well-situated and well-equipped. We had an issue when we checked in and everyone was so responsive--both the house manager and handyman came by to make sure all was fine, which it was--and then the handyman came back a few days later to doublecheck. The living spaces are comfortable and there is enough separate space that people could comfortably do their own things. We would absolutely stay there again.

We had the best stay here! We took a family trip and this house was the perfect setup for two small families, with two bedrooms on the main floor sharing a bathroom and a large bedroom with a private shower/toilet downstairs in the basement with walkout doors. We do agree with other reviews that the basement was slightly musty, but it was very comfortable overall and worked well for us. The mattresses were excellent! The main living area is really spacious with two living rooms and the views with the fall foliage are gorgeous out the abundant windows. So much natural light! We cooked a lot at home and had more than what we needed, including spices, oils, and lots of cookware. Everything was incredibly clean and we had no qualms about the toddlers being on the floor or furniture. They even had a high chair, kid’s plates and cutlery, and a pack n play, which were a nice touch. We walked to the lake and did some jogs to downtown and really enjoyed the quiet neighborhood!

The house is neat, clean and very well appointed - everything you need is there. It is located just up the hill, less than a mile from downtown Great Barrington. We had nice weather and enjoyed walking into town.

Great location, walkable to town and lake with very comfortable accomodations. The stairs to the basement which has one of the bedrooms are a little narrow but otherwise easy to move between all of the rooms. Not luxurious but very comfortable and well setup if you are traveling with an infant or young child.

Home is as pictured and in a perfect location for enjoying GB. Check in is easy and communication is fast. While not a luxury experience, this Airbnb has all the basic amenities you need for a weekend away. The kitchen is nicely functional and even includes some basic pantry staples. Everything is clean. We did feel the need to open windows to dissipate a strong cleaning chemical or aerosol air freshener smell, but this might not bother other guests more accustomed to strongly scented products. The basement room smells like a basement. Overall, we had a nice stay and found everything to be as expected based on the photos and description.

The home is very nicely appointed, updated well with lots of amenities and very well-equipped kitchen. There is a high quality, very large smart TV plus a foosball table, Pac-Man console and a fireplace in the family room. Nice decks and close to the lake.
There is an occupied downstairs unit that we weren't aware of, but the person was quiet and unobtrusive, no issues. Also, the downstairs bath is small for an ensuite bedroom. The other bedrooms share a hall bath with shower.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay quite a bit and Great Barrington is a terrific, very walkable town with large and small stores.

We had a wonderful time at Lucas's place. It matched the photos and had everything we needed (the blender was a big plus! As were the games!). The beds were really comfortable too. The location was fantastic - we walked downtown for drinks and dinner and walked over to the boat launch with our paddleboard to enjoy the lake. Plus the house itself has lots of greenery around it and is very quiet at night. Really enjoyed it!

We had a wonderful, relaxing time here over the 3N4D stay. It is a tastefully done home, with ample amenities (stocked kitchen, clean linen and towels, board games, etc), large porch and a lovely backyard.
The quaint town has lovely restaurants and access to multiple nature trails. The lake is just a 10-minute walk from this home, and is a great place for a picnic.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this home - I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing weekend within a 2-3 hour drive from Boston or NYC.

This house was great for our family get together. The back room is PERFECT for hanging out together. Their was a fireplace inside and out, which was very nice. The house had everything you needed and was well labeled. You are a 5 min drive from town, which has tons of shops and restaurants.

We just spent 3 days at Lucas’ wonderful place in Great Barrington. It’s an unusually lovely and well kept house, with EVERYTHING you’ll need; super stocked kitchen, games for kids, big living room for extra space, comfortable beds, lots of warm lighting around the house. The view from the house is as beautiful as the interior, and all of GB is only a short distance away. He’s not a super host for nothing! You really get the sense it's a very well cared for and excellently situated house .

We stayed here with our 4 children, and it was big enough for our family. The place was well maintained with nice decorative touches. It is extremely well stocked with basic necessities and has any kitchen equipment you might need. Our kids enjoyed the Foosball table and old school PacMan game as well. Super close to downtown and very close to Butternut ski area. Lucas is very good at responding to any issues that arise. Thank you for the great stay!

The house was lovely and warm for our arrival and had everything we needed for our short stay - including kitchen supplies, bathroom soaps, toilet paper etc. Also plenty of towels.
The second main bedroom upstairs is tight but all we really needed for our group. The kids slept in the large double room which was very spacious. The bathroom downstairs is pretty tight for larger/taller people.
The beds were a shock initially, extremely firm, but after laying on them we realised they were memory foam mattresses and comfortable to sleep on.
Also great to have a big washer & dryer in the basement.
We really enjoyed the stay and will recommend it to friends visiting that way.
Location was great, only 14min drive to Catamount and a short drive down to the Main Street.

We stayed here with our 2 kids and really enjoyed the house. The place was spotless and had everything we needed (including lots of bonus kids stuff tucked away like a high chair and plastic cups and plates). Lots of effort has been made to make this house feel welcoming. Nice walk or short drive to downtown. The fact that there was a tenant downstairs was a total non issue (we didn’t even see them once and wouldn’t have known they were there if not for the car). If we are in the area we would definitely stay here again.

Very nice stay overall — the house is in a fantastic location great for walking, and very well done. Nicely appointed kitchen for cooking, well stocked and great common spaces to hang out. We visited with 4 adults, a 1 year old and a dog and it was a good space for our group.
Note that the house doesn’t have AC. You don’t need it in the Berkshires most of the time but we visited on a hot August weekend and were uncomfortable due to the heat.
Great communication from the hosts leading up to our visit but I was disappointed when I reached out upon arrival about a strong chemical smell in the downstairs area. Host responded immediately saying they’d get back to me but never did, and only messaged two nights later asking if the smell was still there (it was) and if we could air out the room (we already had two days earlier).
Overall we still enjoyed the stay and would recommend!

The deck is very nice but it does get hot with direct sun and it would be great if the host would provide an umbrella for the umbrella table. We ended up moving some chairs to the front porch which is covered and very pleasant. The host might think about putting a couple of chairs out there. All in all we had a very nice visit and enjoyed the house.

Lucas and Drew's place was exactly as depicted, even better in real life. Quaint neighborhood, very quiet and peaceful. Very friendly neighbors. The place is very very clean. Very spacious especially the family/living room. We went with out oldest daughter and another couple. Plenty of space. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need. As mentioned, some basics are included and a few extra things we didn't expect spice wise. Nice to be in a place that has some decent pots and pans and sharp knives. Plenty of towels and pillows. All mattresses are memory foam and we all slept well.
As mentioned in the details there is a tenant but she has a separate entrance and we never would have known she was there except for seeing her car.

Wonderful, comfortable, spacious home with lots of thoughtful touches and very family friendly. Kitchen, bathrooms well-stocked. Everything was a superior level of clean and super cozy. New appliances, comfy couches. Gas fireplace was an added bonus. Be mindful that basement stairs to lower level may be tricky for elderly or small children. Lucas was responsive and pleasant to communicate with.

We really enjoyed our stay in Lucas' house in Great Barrington. Great location, an easy walk to town, beautiful surroundings. Plenty of room, very comfortable furnishings, and an extremely well-equipped kitchen. Fantastic TV and a toasty-warm propane fireplace. Beds were all very comfortable. Some wonderful windows around the dining table. House was super-clean on arrival and we felt very much taken care of. Recommended.

The house is in a wonderful location close to town yet in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful views of the autumn trees around, lots of light streaming in the many windows. Everything feels new, with high quality furnishings, bedding/towels. The style is rustic chic and modern at the same time. The kitchen is fantastically equipped! It was the perfect gathering place for our family of six adults for cooking, lounging, enjoying town, enjoying nature. Lucas was a wonderful host - very receptive & communicative . I would stay again anytime . Loved it .

The cutest, coziest house in Great Barrington! So nicely decorated, super clean, and the most comfortable beds. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need and then some! The dining room also had a mixology set and every bar glass imaginable! The living room has a foosball table and record player, which were super fun!
The house is very close to the downtown area, which is definitely within walking distance. Tons of cute shops, cafes, bakeries, and restaurants. There are also tons of hiking trails in the area. I had the pleasure of staying here in the fall, and seeing the foliage in the Berkshires was such a treat!
