My family had an exceptionally great time at Lucas’ home
My family had an exceptionally great time at Lucas’ home. We slept well, cooked, and played plenty of board games in between hikes, trips to lakes, and adventures in Great Barrington and other charming Berkshire towns. The home was comfortable, spacious and super well-appointed. We hope to come back!

Great house and backyard
Great house and backyard!! Host was polite, quick to answer our questions and helpful.
We hope to be back at some point.
Had a wonderful weekend
Had a wonderful weekend! The house was perfect, had everything we needed. Loved sitting on the beautiful patio in the morning with coffee, chatting and listening to the birds.
Lucas is a great host! Would love to come back next year for our annual girl’s trip!
We enjoyed our stay
We enjoyed our stay. The place was rustic but amazingly well kept and maintained with all modern amenities for your stay. It had all the necessary kitchen appliances, bathroom towels, modern linen for our convenience. The internet and streaming was high speed and AC worked very well. The backyard was beautiful. location is very quiet and private. The cost for our three day stay was extremely reasonable. We would definitely stay again.
This is our third time staying in Lucas’ place in New Marlboro
This is our third time staying in Lucas' place in New Marlboro. We come to the Berkshires frequently to visit family, and the New Marlboro house is just perfect for us. It's spacious, welcoming, full of light. The location is perfect - quiet and private while also close to everything including Great Barrington, Butternut, the AT, and Stockbridge. My dog enjoys the giant yard for playing fetch, and I love the giant spa bathtub after a day of hiking or trail maintenance! Lucas is super helpful and easy to connect with. We will be back!
Very peaceful, clean, easy in, easy out, comfortable abnb
Very peaceful, clean, easy in, easy out, comfortable abnb. Plenty of space (we only used one floor for two adults, but plenty of options). We were visiting family so were in and out a lot, mainly sleeping and cleaning up there.

The property was very nice and matched the description. It was very private. Close to Great Barrington. Clean and well-appointed. Just a little delay in responsiveness, but he was friendly.
Wonderful stay
Wonderful stay!! The house is very clean and comfortable complete with a record player!! The yard and patio are lovely and the surrounding area offers beautiful country roads for walks! Highly recommend for a peaceful stay!

We visited the area for a couple of days and thoroughly enjoyed our time at lucas's house. The surrounding area was beautiful, the house was comfortable, Lucas was very responsive, our dog had the time of her life.
Wonderful Airbnb
Wonderful Airbnb! I would highly recommend it. The space is charming and comfortable and the area is lovely. Things were clean, and Lucas was very communicative. The only thing to note for future guests is if you want to use the firepit then you need to confirm with the host and bring your own firewood. Finding firewood was a bit of a challenge but mostly because we didn't know the area that well and didn't bring enough.
A lovely Berkshire hideaway
A very nice post & beam Berkshire house, quiet, clean, great acerage and amenities.Lucas was very accessible to handle minor issues quickly.

Amazing Place to stay. Beautiful location and house is amazing. Only one issue is the loft gets a bit hot the AC couldn't quite keep up. Will recommend and hopefully stay again next year.
We had an excellent time
We had an excellent time. Always love spending time up in the area. House and yard were amazing. Would love to go back up again in the fall and use the firepit this time.

We had a wonderful stay. House had everything we needed. Beautiful inside and out. Very convenient to Butternut ski area. Would stay again!
Perfect spot for our Moms/Daughters Getaway!
The property was the perfect location for our girl-weekend getaway! The loft level was the perfect space for the kids to call their own. The kitchen had everything we needed for making easy meals during our stay. The large dining table made for a great gathering spot to play cards and board games (all provided with the rental). The property was conveniently located to quaint towns with lots to explore (shopping and restaurants) and a stone throw from Ski Butternut where we enjoyed a few hours of snow tubing.

We loved our stay at this property! Very close to butternut and was beautiful and clean. Able to sleep a lot of people and great for a big group! It was complete with a great record player and board games for our group, as well as stocked with dishware and silverware, a coffee machine, dishwasher, towels, a working FIREPIT (wow!) and other things we needed for a ski trip. Thanks so much for the stay Lucas! Only note is to beware of getting cars up to the driveway if it snows, but we did not have too much trouble.
Beautiful getaway home
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely, remote location. The home was welcoming and inviting. The property is large with nice views. It is a bit of a drive to reach stores and restaurants but that is what we like! The upstairs loft is one wide-open space with several beds so you need to be okay with sharing the space.

Quiet spot
Great place to unwind, very quiet
Great location to explore the Berkshires
The home is in a great location for exploring several small towns and for attending events at Tanglewood - about 25 minutes away. It is also near numerous excellent restaurants and other attractions. We shall certainly return!
The most magical experience
10/10!!!!
This VRBO truly felt like a vacation all in its own right. Every aspect from the kind hosts to the beautiful property, cleanliness, decor, and more exceeded our expectations and made our trip a real dream. I could not recommend this VRBO enough and feel so grateful that we had the opportunity to stay. The location of the house itself was extremely convenient to downtown GB, yet provided amazing privacy and felt like a retreat from chaotic life. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer 😅, hopefully we can come back very soon! Thank you so much for the wonderful trip!
Great time
Would highly recommend this place as a good get away.
Berkshire Post and Beam house
Was great - everything we needed!
Ski trip
Great place. Fit our needs. Even had our dogs with us.
Weekend getaway
This house was very nice, comfortable and felt at home.
Great family retreat
The house was even better than we expected! We loved the huge living room and our family fell in love your turntable and the album collection. The oversized dining table was perfect for dinners and endless board games. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to enjoy cooking dinner together. We loved the location on a quiet side road that was great for morning walks. The drive to Great Barrington was quick and made it easy to enjoy all the shops and restaurants. We hope to come back again!
Very spacious house
beautifully stay for couples.
Family time in the Berkshires
Wonderful stay in the Berkshires, this house is perfect for gathering with friends and family. We played games around the large dining table, prepared meals together, sat by the fire pit recalling stories and creating new memories. The property was quiet and beautiful. Quick trip to Stockbridge, Great Barrington, Lenox. The open loft was great for adult children but might be a challenge with couples or older adults who might like more privacy. For our group, PERFECT!
Peaceful home with one full bath
The property was lovely in a beautiful New Marlborough location. It would have been perfect for a couple. However, it was not good for three adults. The listing inaccurately states that it has two bathrooms, one with a tub and shower, and one with a shower only. It actually has one and a half bathrooms. The first floor bathroom has a tub and shower, and the upstairs bathroom has neither. The person or persons staying upstairs has to walk downstairs through the dining room to use the only shower in the house. The side porch is lovely for morning coffee. The kitchen is small but adequate for vacationing. The living room and downstairs bedroom were very comfortable. The turntable and albums were an highlight of the visit. Overall, I would definitely recommend it for a couple.
Visiting Tanglewood
We were in the area as we were going to the weekend concerts at Tanglewood. We have a family member who sings with the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, and it was great to be able to relax with family while visiting.
We’ve been visiting the Great Barrington area for many years….
We've been visiting the Great Barrington area for many years. I have relatives in the neighborhood and we either stayed in Great Barrington at the Fairfield Inn and Suites or with the relatives. It was a new experience to stay in an Airbnb and it was wonderful. We enjoyed the privacy and ability to come and go as we pleased and liked that we could relax at the end of the day without having to bother anyone else. Beautiful home in a beautiful setting. We hope to come back soon. We appreciated the owner's prompt correspondence and flexibility. Our plans for visiting western Massachusetts were kind of fluid and we needed the flexibility.
Again, we are so grateful and so impressed with the host and the home.
Warmest regards,
John & Janet Eline

This house was amazing. The location in the beautiful Berkshires was beautiful and private. The house was spacious, well furnished, and clean. Great equipment and amenities. beautiful and quiet place, I recommend. however, warning about poison ivy around the hammock. I notified the host and they were very friendly. but when the landscapers came they were whacked the poison ivy which I think made it worse. and big TV doesn't work with a lot of apps.

Had a wonderful stay! Absolutely met and exceeded expectations. We felt right at home. The house sits at a good amount of distance from a very quiet road and is surrounded by massive well kept lawn, offering lots of space to enjoy the outdoors in a very private and peaceful environment. Additional standouts were the well stocked kitchen, huge bathroom and very comfy bed. We loved it.

This is our second stay at this property, It is absolutely gorgeous! The home is clean and comfortable and in the perfect non traffic area. Not far from Great Barrington at all for supplies or even Lee. Lucas is a great host and we have also stayed at a different property that is managed by him. It was a lovely home, with lots of space. I did not get to enjoy the outdoors as much because of the snow, but there was a firepit that allowed for warm outdoor time. the wifi is strong and the kitchen has all tools you need to cook.

This is our second stay in this lovely home and once again we were very pleased with all that it has to offer! The home is so comfortable, clean, spacious, warm and inviting. The kitchen is well stocked for preparing meals. Our family (which includes 8 adults, 4 children and a dog) had so much fun! During our stay we were treated to the most beautiful snowfall which EVERYONE enjoyed playing in! The yard has some perfect sledding hills , just be sure to bring your sleds if snow is in the forecast! There is a wonderful fire pit outside (along with a generous supply of firewood) where we gathered around during the snowfall to warm up and roast marshmallows. We feel the location is perfect, it's private, beautiful, close to surrounding towns and very peaceful! Lucas is a very good communicator should you have any questions or concerns. We are grateful to the owners of this well loved home for sharing it and allowing us the pleasure of making some very special "family time" memories!

Every Fall my wife and I escape to this particular area of the Berkshires to take in as many sights as we can, and it’s always comforting knowing that upon our trip back after a long day, we have an extremely clean, comfortable and cozy place to settle into.

This place was awesome for a ski weekend at Butternut. My three brothers and I, all in our 30's and 40's, loved the house, which was really fantastic for just hanging out in the evening after skiing. This sweet home was everything we were hoping for! An extremely comfortable, clean and peaceful retreat! The location is perfect… close enough to everything but isolated enough for the deer to visit ( if your lucky). If you love to cook as we do, the kitchen is well equipped. We discovered shopping at Guidos for the freshest of foods and very friendly service! If you wish to experience a wonderful dining experience out try Once Upon A Table in Stockbridge, it’s a small intimate restaurant with delicious food and very friendly service! The Market Place and GB Eats are also great food stops. So many wonderful directions to go in from this perfect spot in the Berkshires! If we are lucky enough to return again some day we would love to stay longer!

This Airbnb offers a quiet outdoor setting (not always easy to find) with expansive indoor living space. Perfect for a family planning a trip to the Berkshires as it is close to many great things to do but also just right for a couple or someone traveling solo. The wi-fi connection worked instantaneously *always a plus for work and staying in touch. The comfortable seating throughout gives you an opportunity to just relax and take in the peaceful Berkshires. And Lucas was extremely helpful and accommodating. Worth the stay.

This place was really wonderful. While there is only one bedroom, and one (very large) full bath, it was very comfortable for a family of one grandfather, one couple, and one older sibling. There is an additional half bath on the second floor where there are three very comfortable beds, which was very convenient.
We had lots of room to stretch out and relax. The house is extremely clean, comfortably furnished, and very tastefully decorated. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed, and we were able to cook dinner and enjoy it at the large dining table. The enormous yard accommodated fun with the dogs, a fire pit at night.
The location is wonderful set into the woods in New Marlborough. Very quiet. About 15 to 20 minutes to almost everywhere and many hiking spots closer. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wanted to stay longer.

The house was spotless, tastefully decorated with some fun and eclectic elements thrown in. Quite spacious although it feels very cozy.
On a quiet road, private, with a nice sized back yard. Great Barrington is nearby, with many choices of places to eat and shop. Hiking, skiing, biking, as well as venues for music, art and theatre are all close.
Everything we needed for our stay was there - cooking supplies, toiletries, washer and dryer etc. The jacuzzi bathtub was spectacular!

This spot is an Airbnb gem! Great location, awesome setup with loft sleeping options for our family getaway. Well stocked, super close to Butternut and Great Barrington but far enough away that it felt like a true getaway. We saw deer in the yard, the kids got to run around in the snow, and the kitchen and laundry were well-stocked for everything we needed. Little details like having a few pantry staples (oil, coffee filters), lots of extra blankets, shampoo/conditioner, and dishwasher/laundry soap went a long way to help us feel right at home. The hosts gave us our space but super responsive and nice. Can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was amazing , about 15 minutes to get to down town Great Barrington, so close enough to amenities, but also felt secluded enough on the large lot of land and small road. The house was very spacious and clean and master bedroom and bath was perfect. We had a two adults , an infant and a dog and enjoyed having a lot of extra space for the family to roam around . A huge plus to have the yard space for our pup to run around and enjoy the snow . Lucas and Drew responded to any messages very quickly and we had all the information we needed on the house well before checkin. Hands down one of our favorite rentals ever on Airbnb and we will for sure be visiting again!

Lovely stay. Access in winter and location near Great Barrington and ski areas is great. Short driveway, not steep and garage for cars was appreciated. Peaceful surrounding woods, you can just see one neighboring house through the trees. So grateful for the pet friendly listing! We were disappointed the firepit and chairs were not set up, as that was a big draw for us. Fyi the loft upstairs is huge! With a nice seating area and TV. It is open however (no door), so you'll hear everything from the living space below. Fairly well equipped (byo coffee, toiletries, condiments, etc). Thanks for the great stay.

Our stay at Lucas's home was wonderful! The house is close enough to Great Barrington and Stockbridge that a quick trip into town is easy. Everything was incredibly clean when we arrived. It was especially nice to have some items already stocked (soap, kitchen items, etc.). The black-out shades in the bedroom was a nice addition. The outdoors is beautiful - a very quiet plot of land with plenty of grass for our toddler and dog to run surrounded by beautiful trees. It was such a nice long weekend!

Truly a Berkshires gem. My wife and I visit the Berkshires every Fall for our anniversary and have finally found our perfect spot. Hidden away yet so close to anything and everything that you may want to do, hike, fish, shop or just relax.

We would be hard-pressed to find a single criticism of this absolutely lovely space and its very attentive host, Lucas. Everything about the house is as described— it’s a beautiful house, with a small but perfectly functional and exceptionally well stocked kitchen, an open and inviting living area, a giant loft which would be fun for a huge group, and a bathroom with a soaking tub larger than some Manhattan apartments! The yard is massive – – probably 3 acres – – and utterly private, and yet, the location is convenient to the towns of great Barrington, Lenox, Stockbridge, as well as to numerous gorgeous hikes/state parks, ski resort and more for folks who enjoy nature as much as we do. Lucas is the perfect host—Attentive but never intrusive. We have stayed in a dozen or more Airbnb’s, and this absolutely immaculate house is hands-down the best value we have ever received. Truly could not be happier. We will visit again, along with our two pups, who enjoyed the experience as much as we did!

This home is very well appointed and very well described in the online listing. We wanted for nothing in the kitchen, at the grill, linens/towels wise. The beds are incredibly comfortable, parking was super easy and the shower is nothing short of magical. We loved looking at all the art and eclectic decor around the home and we enjoyed a couple of great meals around the large dining table. This was really a wonderful place to stay, a short drive from lots of great breweries and museums in the area - we took advantage of the Normal Rockwell Museum, Big Elm Brewery and Great Falls Brewery. The fire pit was lovely to sit around in the early evening and the information and check-out detail was very well communicated. Will enjoy the opportunity to stay here again and explore more of the area.

We enjoyed our time at this airy, get-away in the Berkshires. It's easy to get to a town, lake, waterfall, or restaurant, and easy to sit back and relax — with a large lawn and places to sit and relax.

The house is beautiful, very clean, and located in a great area. However, the A/C did not work for our week long stay.

This beautiful home is equipped with everything you’ll need for a comfortable family stay. The pictures don’t do the place justice, it’s even lovelier in person. The porch offers a magical spot with a view of tall trees and a lovely lawn. We enjoyed cooking, watching movies, and playing games. All the pleasure of the Berkshires are nearby. Highly recommended!

Loved everything about this place. Secluded but not too far from town. The open concept first floor was perfect for my husband, dog, and I. The bathtub was glorious after long days hiking. We are originally from the area so it was perfect to be back and also have so much time in nature. Thanks to the hosts!

This place was a gem
This place was a gem. We were looking for a safe, clean, home-away-from-home for a short trip to the Berkshires. Easy check-in. Great space for our family of five and the house was close to shops and restaurants in Great Barrington and skiing at Butternut mountain. Lucas communicated every step of the way. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
We had a great stay at Lucas’s place with our son and daughter-in-law and their three very young children
We had a great stay at Lucas's place with our son and daughter-in-law and their three very young children. The main living space is comfortable and well-furnished for a family gathering. The kitchen is small but was totally functional and had everything we could need to cook all of our meals in. The main bathroom is massive and luxurious. The half bath on the second floor is very convenient. The beds are all very comfortable and the hosts are super responsive. The house is on a quiet road that was nice for walking. We would definitely stay again.
