Great stay in Brookline. Plenty of space for a family to relax in between outings across Boston! Couch was INCREDIBLY comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. Loved the location which gave us easy access to the city using the green line but a reprieve from the city intensity at the end of the day. Hosts were super responsive. Also, 2 min walk from Totoro patisserie. Only feedback for host is to provide more towels and make them the fluffy ones!!

We rented the place for my daughter’s college graduation and hosted both of our mothers
We rented the place for my daughter's college graduation and hosted both of our mothers. I'm sincere about my 5-star rating, but there are few things that bear noting for future renters. 1) the light switches need to be labeled-very confusing which switch goes to which light/fan/outlet; 2) the 2" step in the foyer needs to be marked with caution tape-every single one of us tripped up or down the step at some point; 3) the kitchen does not contain any food at all-no salt/pepper, no coffee/tea; 4) there was only one roll of paper towel and no dishrag; 5) there is rotting wood flooring in the downstairs bedroom at the entry to the ensuite. Also, the grandmothers-who slept downstairs-found the place too cold and could not figure out how to change the thermostat. They're both from the South so they were bothered by the temperature, which was set at a reasonable 70-72. Everything said about the noise and view of the loading dock is true. We knew it going in.

Excellent location (about a block from the train stop)- perfect for our annual road trip. Safe area, close to Fenway and diverse local restaurants. There were five of us and we never felt cramped. Plenty of room. Host was quick to respond with any questions/issues.

We had a great stay at Lucas’s! It was so spacious and bigger than the pictures led on; what a cool and fun townhouse. The location couldn’t have been better - legit a minute to the Green Line, and also shops and restaurants along the rail! We loved the book selections at the house and the beds and linens were super comfy! We also loved cooking in the kitchen, and between the four of us, we had plenty of space to gather for meals and also sprawl out. Excellent time had by all!

Lucas’ place was perfect for my family
Lucas' place was perfect for my family. there was plenty of space to hang out and sleep. Every room was comfortable and as it was listed as it was described and shown. We were in Boston to visit family for an unfortunate medical emergency. It was a short ride to the hospital and very close to our niece who is at Boston University. It is also close to Fenway Park. There were plenty of coffee shops and restaurants very close by to suit our needs. There is even an H Mart whose back door you can see from the kitchen windows so we could easily grab a few basics for the house. I will say, the parking is tricky but that is specified clearly in the directions so you know what to expect. Honestly though since you're right across the street from the T in the heart of the city you really don't need a car. We would gladly stay here again and hope to in the future for happier reasons.

Overall a really great stay
Overall a really great stay. Awesome location and the unit itself is very nice with great amenities. The weird part was that there were two broken windows in the kitchen when we came in. The host was super responsive though and offered to fix it during our stay. There was also half of a missing doorknob (which made a door unusable from one side), which the host also offered to fix during our stay. So overall great communication, but still these are things that probably should have been caught before we got there. If it wasn't for those things, the visit would have been flawless.

Perfect place for attending Red Sox games and visiting the surrounding area. Close to the train stop. Super nice having the grocery store right next door and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The actual condo was perfect. Spacious and clean. Plenty of room to spread out. We slept better in this place than we’ve ever slept anywhere, including my own house!

This is a great space, we had a group of 8 and it was perfect. Everyone had enough space and the rooms were great. The pictures do not do justice to how spacious the home feels. The rooftop deck was barely used because the kitchen was a great place to gather everyone around. Lucas and drew were gracious and quick to respond.

Overall the location was as advertised and up to expectation! With several floors there was plenty of room for all of the guests to sleep and a large living room/kitchen to hang out. The T station was close so even with spotty weather we were able to get everywhere with ease. Would highly recommend!

The check-in instructions were clear and Lucas even included a helpful guide to the home & the neighborhood. The home itself is beautiful and the location - so close to the green line - made for easy transportation to the convention center. Overall the space was clean and as described. This was perfect for our large group! We would gladly stay here again.

The place is very beautiful and a great experience to stay at. If the price is right-as it was when I booked-it’s a great place to stay. However one should be aware it isn’t totally finished. A few lights and switches don’t work and there are closets with a bunch of hanging wires behind light switches where you can see there’s construction. The Wi-fi router isn’t capable of reaching all rooms and is just piled on the floor by the kitchen table, and there are some areas with significant water damage. So to really charge a premium for this property those things need to be fixed, imo, yet despite those it is really nice to stay in an large old property like this. We did have a problem with batteries-door lock didn’t work and we had to wait a couple hours, then the remotes weren’t working and turned out no batteries either. So, that was frustrating, but the place was still wonderful, just needed some closer attention to detail.

We greatly enjoyed our time in the townhouse close to Fenway Park. It was a great gathering place for my family over the holidays as we supported a family member at Brigham & Women's Hospital. The beds were extremely comfortable (high-end memory foam), the shared spaces were great for a large group, and the location was very convenient both in terms of its proximity to the hospital and to amenities such as restaurants, grocery stores, and parks. Just like the pictures, the main areas were filled with light and the wood floors were gleaming.
However, there were almost no cleaning supplies available aside from soap. After a few days with a large group one could use a broom, vacuum, and spray. The temperature was difficult to control and the downstairs bedroom was oppressively hot. No hood over the stove so cooking can become smoky. The lights were quirky and difficult to decipher. With these issues remedied, I would easily give 5 stars.

The place…i cannot stop to rave about it. Best airbnb we have stayed at. My adult kids loved the place. It is very spacious and clean. I super love the design of the place. Kitchen is complete with all things you need. Even if the place is at the back of a main road, we never heard much noise. We all slept soundly. We will definitely go back!

My biggest criticism is around the fact that the AC system in the house did not work. My entire extended family who flew in from all over the world to attend my sister’s college graduation had to endure a consistent 82-84 degrees in the house, which is not very pleasant in Boston’s summer humidity. I reached out every day to get the situation rectified, but unfortunately it was ultimately never fixed.
Given the price point, it felt a little ridiculous that we had to endure this level of discomfort.
To be clear, this is probably more the fault of the property management vendor than Lucas, but unfortunately the reality was still that my family was extremely uncomfortable.

Beautiful and comfortable space for our whole family as we said farewell to a precious family member at the local hospital. Only hang up was having only one parking space as we had several cars. Lucas was super helpful with providing information about additional parking in the area. Not to be unexpected for the area, just had to get acquainted with walking and a few extra loops around the block.

Not all of the photos are accurate, so it didn’t feel quite as homely as we were expecting, but it wasn’t a big issue. Somewhere to hang coats in the entrance lobby would be a great addition.
The entrance to the house is located in an alleyway which is safe and well lit, but it does face the rear of commercial properties so there are bright lights (floodlight/security lights) on all night and these shine right into the front bedroom on the ground floor. There are lorries delivering goods during the day, and the dumpsters are right there too. None of it was a major problem but some guests may want to be aware of that before booking.

fwiw other reviews comment on the frontage. St Marys Ct is basically a glorified alley. the apartment does look over the back of storefronts and grocery does take deliveries there. Flip side is the back of those stores is great restaurants and shops.

The front door needed an extra and unexpected push to open which we weren't expecting which had us a little concerned at check-in, but we were able to get it opened 5-10 minutes into check-in.
Upon entry, the temperature was 89 degrees in the unit and it took roughly 24 hours for the temperature to cool down to a reasonable temperature which made it a little uncomfortable for the group since this was during summer.
There was a storm one of the nights and upon returning from going out that evening, a guest observed water on the floor coming down from the walls. Pictures were taken, it was then cleaned up by the guest, and the host was notified the next morning and provided pictures.
Overall the trip was great. For what we paid, we'd expect the air conditioning to be set to a reasonable temperature for when we arrived, especially when it took roughly 24 hours for the place to cool down.

Everyone enjoyed their stay and felt very comfortable; it had everything we needed. The rooftop patio was the cherry on top. Would definitely recommend for larger groups. Stayed here leading into Marathon Monday. I chose this place because of the proximity to the marathon course, and because it could accommodate my cheering section - dad, sister, nephews, husband and dog.
The house is on an alley behind a FORMER Whole Foods. The Whole Foods has since closed. The side street feeds onto a road that is on the Boston Marathon course around mile 24. Great for spectators who may not want to or know how to traverse the city on Marathon Monday.
A couple of walkable (less than a city block) places we tried and recommend: Wine Press (liquor/wine/specialty food store), Bar Cino (bar/restaurant) , Tatte Bakery and Cafe across the street.
Host was super responsive! No major issues and all amenities were as described.

Great location for a business related travel with a group of three. We conducted a two day workshop with a few local colleagues in the open kitchen/ living room … it worked amazingly well, as we even did some informal breakout session kitchen block vs dinner table vs couch..

Lucas & Drew were wonderful hosts and made sure to make our stay here as easy & seamless as possible. They answer any questions we had in a thoughtful manner and the place itself was very clean! The only thing that was a little tough was turning on the tv and getting to work (ie volume control, channels, or clicking on steaming platforms) .
Other than that our stay was great & we were near a lot of amazing things around Boston.

We had a great stay! The location is extremely convenient, the house was spacious and comfortable, and Lucas provided all of the information we needed prior to our stay.

Overall our stay was good aside from a few things - there were a lot of flies for some reason, the bathtub could use a deep cleaning, and there was a smoke detector battery dying upon our arrival, which resulted in a very loud chirp every 30 seconds or so. Unfortunately it was literally the only smoke detector in the house which we couldn’t reach with any chairs or stools in the house, as the ceilings in that room are at least 12 feet high. A maintenance person eventually arrived about 10:30 that night to change the battery, and we appreciated the communication as we waited for someone to come with a ladder. The Whole Foods which backed up to the house has permanently closed, so I suspect the early morning deliveries are less of an issue than other reviews have indicated. There were other deliveries (and some construction) in the alley which we heard, but certainly nothing beyond what you’d expect to hear when staying in a city. The location is very convenient - we walked both days from the house into Boston and back.

We had an absolutely terrific time in this gorgeous property. I especially appreciate how accommodating Lucas was for me and my kids — I booked this very last minute and he responded quickly, after midnight no less, and with great care. It’s a fantastic space — exactly like the photos, but the feel inside is even better (the jet tub was an experience! My daughter called it an indoor pool!). Check in was a breeze and we immediately felt at home. The location is tucked away behind some of our favorite spots in Brookline, walking distance to one of the best restaurants I hadn’t been to in years which was such a treat. Anyone looking to be in the heart of the city but have privacy should book this place! We hope to be back soon! Beyond thrilled with our entire stay; thank you, Lucas!
Overall, this was a great place to stay
Overall, this was a great place to stay. The pictures do make it seem a bit nicer than it was, but it was still spacious and accommodated my party of 8 very well; the house just has a few quirks. We had a few issues during our stay (beer bottles and trash on the roof deck, some forgotten trash in the rooms, toilet seat not attached, a few sinks drained poorly, no ironing board) but the host was very responsive to everything and helped out with some of these issues. Unfortunately the toilet seat and sinks weren't fixed during our stay, but hopefully will for the next person.
Something to note is that the listing and information is a little outdated. A few of the places nearby that are recommended -- notably the Whole Foods -- have closed. The information posted inside of the house (like door code and WiFi name and password) are not up to date, make sure to use what the host sends in the message prior to check-in. Also, to use the lock on the door, press the lock sign, then each number once. That was not clear when we checked in.
The location is a little odd at first because the entrance is in kind of an alley, but it's really a good part of the city. We had a conference at MIT and enjoyed the walk every day. Ten minutes from Fenway, walkable to downtown (though kind of long) and Cambridge, we loved that part.
Overall, would stay here with a large group again.

The location was just perfect to Fenway park, 14 min walk, to see Paul McCartney concert and the green line into the city. Perfect little outdoor breakfast place within 4 min walk, with the dogs, so friendly. We just loved our stay!! Thank You, Cindy and Family

Great place to stay for a group. A large living room with a tv/couch area, kitchen/island, dining room table that make it good separate out. Hosts were responsive and checkin etc was easy.

Fabulous house! Very clean and we loved spending our mornings drinking coffee on the porch. Very comfortable and Michelle was a very communicative host. Great location for our purposes as well.

Wonderful experience and place overall. A bit awkward walking down the court but, I had door dash delivered with no issue at all. Very quite area and not that far of a walk to Starbucks. Overall, great experience and I will stay here again.

Very unique and cool place to stay in, great central location. Some notes: the morning delivery sound is real in 1 bedroom (the one with 1 beds), but the 2 other bedrooms are *very* quiet. Be really careful about parking - if someone else improperly parks in the designated spot, you’ll have to park on another street until they move. Bring body soap for the showers - it was not provided during our visit.

This place is in a great neighborhood. It’s lovely inside and has a great tub and steam shower in the master bath. Parking is a little tricky but doable. We’d come back.

This spot is great! Tons of space and very comfortable. Tons of extra pillows, blankets, towels so you don’t have to worry about bringing any. Great location also. Walking distance to Fenway Park. 15-20 min uber rides to the city/ south end/ and Quincy market. Lucas is great. Stayed in contact with me all weekend if I had any questions or concerns he answered within minutes. 10 out of 10 I would recommend for any big group to stay here

The photos don’t do the place justice, the cleanliness was top notch, the location was perfect, and the communication during our stay was above and beyond (in the best way). More than enough space for us to all spread out, beds were super comfy, all of the essentials provided. It was great!

This Brookline Airbnb is fantastic
This Brookline Airbnb is fantastic! Its beautiful and full of character. There is some noise from the trucks loading into the Whole Foods in front, but it didn't disturb me and my coworker at all. The space is great for hosting and was super clean. Lucas is very communicative to help with instructions and details for the house. Being right behind the Whole Foods and several cute restaurants was very convenient.
We had an alright stay
We had an alright stay. Convenient location, though not prettiest (it's essentially a service alley behind a grocery store). Big and pretty space inside with interesting quirks like a rooftop hangout and a particularly massive bathroom. We'd have liked it to be cleaner and in perfect working order (e.g. the dishwasher didn't work), but we've notified the host so hopefully they'll address these.

Great location. We had a ten person family gathering ages 5 to 85 for four nights. It provided the common space to gather and individual space to relax. Whole Foods is almost next to it, plus great bakery and restaurants within 3 minutes walking distance. Museums are nearby so as kayaking and beach swimming. Just be careful with parking rules of Brookline if you are not familiar with it and if you are coming over with one than one vehicle, lol. We will definitely return next time in Brookline.

The house is great, it looks just as advertised. The home is open and so much natural light comes in the big windows and skylight. The location of the house is perfect for walking around to restaurants, shops, bars. Fenway is also easily walkable from the house. The host was very responsive and answered all my questions. You will also get a parking spot right infront of the house which is very convenient. Our group went to Bar’Cino for dinner one night which was delicious (located in front of the house next to the Whole Foods) we were able to walk to a spin class as the handle bar, and so many more things. The house was great, it slept the 11 of us comfortably with plenty of towels and sheets. We really enjoyed our stay!!

Beautiful space with lots of room for everyone. The location in the middle of the city was just what we needed. The commercial location can be noisy but if you came to stay in the city that is expected. The proximity of the whole foods turned out to be a huge plus as we often found we needed this or that and it was right there. We also enjoyed some of the restaurants in the neighborhood. My family came for the Boston University Graduation. We were 8 adults and enjoyed the public and private spaces in the house. We came from the airport and train station and found this location to be easy get to from both. We had just 1 car so parking was no problem and we rarely used the car. We walked and used city-bikes to get around which was great fun. We were unable to attend the graduation ceremony in person but all fit onto the big couch and watched it steaming live on the smart TV. We were so thankful for such a great, convenient, spacious place where we could all stay under one roof.

House was big and spacious! Went for my bachelorette weekend there was plenty of space for us 9 ladies! Place was clean and had all amenities we needed! Only complaint is the AC would turn off in the middle of the night so we all woke up hot. Other then that it was a beautiful place and a great weekend!

This beautiful home is located in a great part of town. You will have very easy access to restaurants, public transportation, and grocery stores. It is extremely spacious! The owners are quick to respond to any needs or concerns. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The Brookline House is far beyond expectations
The Brookline House is far beyond expectations! The pics don’t even do it justice the house is massive absolutely perfect for group traveling to Boston. The house is modestly deceiving from the outside once inside it just keeps going! The rooftop deck is glorious and it just so happened to be in the 60’s when we arrived so enjoying the sun drenched rooftop deck was perfect! There are extra roll out cots in the closest which we didn’t use but was great to know we also had as an option. Will for sure be staying here every year!

Would highly recommend this place its great for a large group. The location we walking distance to a grocery store, places to eat and the T stop which was very convenient.
The apartment itself was larger than expected, very clean and well maintained. All the appliances appeared newer and functioned very well (we did not use the washer/dryer so cant comment on that). The kitchen had a good supply of cooking tools, pots and pans, and your basic essentials like coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and the like.
The hosts are very quick to respond to all the questions we had. Definitely a good find over all!

Two colleagues and I were in Boston for business
Two colleagues and I were in Boston for business. Prices for hotel rooms were unusually high. We looked into an AirBnb and could not have been more pleased with our decision. The apartment/home was outstanding. Great location. Very clean. Really interesting architecture. All three of us agreed it was a smart decision and a place we would definitely go back to again the next time we were in town. Would also stay there again with friends/family, particularly if you wanted easy access to Cambridge and BU.

Boston charm with a modern twist. The home was beautiful and located next to everything you could ask for! Grocery store, tea places, cafes, restaurants, gym, public transportation, and Fenway. Lucas and Drew were so responsive and accommodating. When I needed extra pillows they were quick to offer them. If in town again I would definitely book this place again. This place is massive and a nice tucked away secret
This place is massive and a nice tucked away secret. Super close to Fenway park makes this the ideal spot for a group of friends or couples to act as a staging ground for catching a ball game, or having a night on the town, quiet hours are taken very seriously, but as long as your not a rowdy crew this place is awesome. Major fan of the shower and jaccuzi bathtub, as well as the rooftop patio.
